Duo Li Duo Foods Corporation has once again received major recognition at FUN FOOD TAIWAN, demonstrating its continued commitment to craftsmanship and food innovation.
Following its 2025 Silver Award for the “Floral Beauty Gift Box” featuring triple-roasted seasoned bamboo salt, Duo Li Duo returned in 2026 with its popular gift set featuring Bamboo Salt Roasted Shrimp / Bamboo Salt Sea Delicacy / Bamboo Salt Golden Turmeric and successfully received one of the event’s highest honors — the FUN FOOD TAIWAN Special Award for Product Evolution.
Winning major awards for two consecutive years not only demonstrates Duo Li Duo Foods Corporation’s strength in Taiwan’s food innovation sector, but also marks an unforgettable journey filled with persistence, refinement, and challenges.
This year’s evaluation focused on three core themes: “Product Evolution,” “Carbon Reduction in Practice,” and “Enhanced Experience.” A total of 235 products were entered into the competition.
From April to May, Duo Li Duo Foods Corporation went through a rigorous series of qualification reviews, requirement assessments, preliminary selections, and secondary judging rounds. At every stage, the team continuously refined its preparation before advancing to the final evaluation.
To clearly present the product’s value to domestic experts, scholars, and retail industry representatives, the team had to complete both its presentation and a high-pressure Q&A session within just six minutes. At the same time, it was required to prepare tasting portions for 18 judges, with each serving carefully portioned into approximately one to two bites.
Under intense time pressure, Duo Li Duo Foods Corporation carefully prepared every detail to present the bamboo salt series at its best. Ultimately, the products successfully stood out among strong competitors and became one of the 89 award-winning FUN FOOD TAIWAN products, while also receiving the prestigious Special Award for Product Evolution.
The key to winning the Special Award for Product Evolution lies in Duo Li Duo Foods Corporation’s effort to move beyond the traditional concept of salt as a single-purpose salty seasoning.
Duo Li Duo’s bamboo salt is carefully produced through a three-day, three-night high-temperature roasting process reaching approximately 800°C. Through repeated roasting and careful flavor development, the product creates a distinctive seasoning experience that differs from ordinary refined salt.
Milder Salty Profile: Designed to provide a smoother and more layered seasoning experience for everyday cooking.
Distinctive Alkaline Characteristics: The traditional bamboo salt roasting process gives the product a unique composition and characteristic flavor profile.
Naturally Occurring Mineral Components: The repeated high-temperature roasting process contributes to the product’s distinctive taste and mineral characteristics, creating greater depth and complexity in seasoning applications.
By combining bamboo salt with carefully selected ingredients, Duo Li Duo has created products that can be enjoyed directly, used to season dishes such as rice, noodles, and grilled foods, or even prepared as a warm infusion depending on personal preference. This versatile dual-use application creates a multi-layered flavor experience that helps differentiate the series in the market.
